If swing's your thing the Peebles International Jazz Festival has built up a strong reputation for attracting some of the brightest stars in the business and is one of most eagerly awaited festivals. Peebles International Jazz Festival is held annually in the spring of the year.

Featuring mainly trad/dixieland bands, the festival has, however, featured several contrasting groups such as ALEX YELLOWLEES (jazz violin), SPATS LANGHAM BANJO TRIO and JEFF BARNHART (solo piano). The festival is truly international as bands from U.S.A and Norway have appeared on the bill and is now a firm fixture on the Scottish jazz calendar.

A beautiful town in its own right, Peebles becomes a lively and entertaining destination for many visitors over the jazz weekend.
