Glentress, 3 miles from Peebles town centre, is rated as 'the best dedicated mountain bike centre in Britain' by Mountain Bike Rider Magazine and offers trails for all grades of riders. Both Glentress, with brilliant trails of all grades and near by Innerleithen offering trails for more experienced riders, have a massive reputation for some of the best mountain biking in the UK and beyond.

Glentress boast biking for all, the Skills Loop ideal for the beginner, and then there is the Blue Route, actual mountain biking without the scary bits. Fine single tracks of the Red Route is the next level up and for the more advanced rider the Black V Trail offers the ultimate challenge and thrill. Fantastic facilities support this truly world renowned mountain bike experience! And in the months of April - August visit the Osprey Watch Centre at the Glentress car park to see the hatching and growth of the chicks.

The Hub in The Forest is an outdoor friendly cafe run by former professional mountain bike rider Emma Guy and Tracy Brunger who currently rides for team Helly Hansen/Giant. The Hub is a place where all outdoor minded people can meet, whether you are here to bike, hike, walk, run, or just to have a damn fine coffee and enjoy the views.
